Martindale-Hubbell names Christine H. Rosso as one of the “Top Women Lawyers”

Christine Rosso has been named to the inaugural edition of the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers. Martindale-Hubbell selected Ms. Rosso from a national field of candidates to be included in its 2011 edition of the Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers. Ms. Rosso has experience in Breach of Contract; Corporate Partnership and LLC Transactions; Insurance Coverage and Contractual Indemnity; and Unfair Competition claims. Ms. Rosso was one of the lawyers who won an insurance coverage case (Aquarius Institute of Computer Sciences Inc. v. State Farm Insurance and Casualty Company). The firm replaced a prior lawyer who had lost the trial seeking insurance benefits, won a motion for a new trial, and then won the re-trial, resulting in a jury verdict for $534,000 in Cook County on June 16, 2011.

Ms. Rosso is one of the youngest lawyers to be named to the Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers.

This rating is the result of a peer review system based upon the confidential opinions of practicing attorneys and members of the judiciary. The Peer Review Ratings® combine a general ethical standards rating and a legal ability rating based on performance in five key areas: legal knowledge, analytical capabilities, judgment, communication ability and legal experience.

This designation exclusively identifies women attorneys who have achieved the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards from their peers. Less than 5% of women lawyers have achieved this top rating. This recent recognition by Martindale-Hubbell puts her among the elite women of the legal industry. Christine graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 2009.
