Ryan Sawyer

Ryan Sawyer graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2007. While in law school, he participated for three semesters on the Frederick Green Moot Court Competition, and was recognized as having the best oral argument during the Midwest Regional Moot Court Competition’s preliminary round in March, 2007. Mr. Sawyer was also awarded a CALI Excellence for the Future award for receiving the top grade in his Trademarks, Unfair Trade Practices, and Consumer Protection class. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois in 2004. He previously served in the U.S. Army Reserve.

During law school, Ryan worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Charles Reynard of the 11th Judicial Court, McLean County, and then clerked at the law firm of Frederick & Hagle in Champaign, Illinois in the field of personal injury law.

Ryan Sawyer joined the Patterson Law Firm in August, 2007.
