Chicago, IL– Jefferey Ogden Katz of The Patterson Law Firm is a keynote speaker for a National Business Institute (NBI) webcast entitled “Professional Liability Dispute Resolution” where he speaks on a variety of topics, including industry trends in professional liability, elements of professional liability in tort, and resolving professional liability claim disputes.
The program also touches on dissecting professional liability insurance, using evidence to recreate the service and the harm and ethical considerations in professional liability cases. Katz’s contributions regarding professional liability relate to data security breaches, social media and negative reviews.
“The interaction among the panelists was very worthwhile,” Katz said. “Professional malpractice claims in general (and legal malpractice claims in particular) are increasing across the country, making these topics very timely.”
The seminar will be offered for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit to lawyers nationwide on December 18, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (CDT).
NBI has been offering CLE courses since 1983. Their courses are offered in all 50 states and Puerto Rico and both in-person seminars and online video webcasts are available for CLE credit. The courses cover a wide range of relevant topics and are taught by experienced and well-known professionals.
