Senior Associate Attorney
Peter J. Evans is a business litigation attorney who represents clients in a variety of legal matters. Prior to joining Patterson Law Firm, Mr. Evans focused his practice on complex insurance coverage disputes. He also represented businesses and individuals in a variety of civil matters, including those involving commercial real estate, interstate trucking, construction defects and serious personal injury. Mr. Evans received his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt Law School, where he earned a Law & Business Certificate. While in law school, he interned with the Tennessee Attorney General's Office in the Consumer Protection Division, assisting with enforcement actions under the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act and the FTC Act. He also served as a research assistant to Professor Jeffery Schoenblum, researching issues relating to trusts and estates. Mr. Evans received his B.S. degree from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management majoring in business management and marketing. While at Purdue, he tutored student athletes in accounting, calculus and chemistry. Mr. Evans currently serves as Vice President of the Geneva (IL) Library Foundation and sits on the Associate Board for the United Way of Western Cook and DuPage Counties in Illinois. He also serves on the Editorial Board for the DuPage County Bar Association Bar Briefs and sits on the DuPage County Bar Association Business Council. Mr. Evans lives in the Chicago area and, in his free time, he enjoys camping and hiking with his wife. Mr. Evans joined The Patterson Law Firm, LLC in October 2016.
